Additional key principles of the charter include adherence to the highest safety standards for AI systems and the responsible development of AI technologies to ensure inclusivity and accessibility for all. The charter also emphasizes the importance of governance and accountability in AI to ensure the technology is used transparently.

This initiative is a pivotal part of the UAE’s broader vision, outlined in the National Strategy for Artificial Intelligence 2031. By setting a benchmark for ethical AI practices, the UAE seeks to position itself as a pioneer in responsible AI innovation.
