HSBC has unveiled its new e-commerce digital payment platform, Omni Collect, in the UAE, in collaboration with leading Saudi-based fintech company, geidea. Accessible to corporate clients through HSBCnet, Omni Collect is designed to simplify and streamline the collection of digital payments for goods and services sold across various channels, including credit and debit cards, as well as e-wallets like Apple Pay and Samsung Pay.

The partnership was announced at a signing ceremony attended by Mohamed Al Marzooqi, CEO of HSBC Bank Middle East UAE, and Abdullah AlOthman, Founder and Executive Chairperson of Geidea. Through this collaboration, Geidea will integrate a merchant acquiring facility within Omni Collect, enabling HSBC business and corporate clients to access a card receivables solution. This integration will provide clients with greater insights into their collections data.

HSBC clients in the UAE with international operations can scale their integration with Omni Collect across multiple markets in Asia and Europe, and vice versa.
